Inside VSV

We might have called this issue of VSV the “Future Issue,” since three in-depth articles present visions of Lawrenceville’s future: a peek at the School’s Strategic Plan with Head Master Liz Duffy H’43; how teachers are using technology and variations on the Harkness table to enhance the student experience; and how new knowledge about teaching and learning is informing what happens in Lawrenceville’s classrooms. “Faculty Voices” features lacrosse coach and Visual Arts Department Chair Allen Fitzpatrick ’73 H’85 ’89 P’99 ’04, who celebrates a life in sport, and alumnus “Doc” Hotchkiss ’47 offers up Lawrenceville memories and a tribute to classmate Paul Mott ’47 P’76 ’85.  Learn more about Lawrenceville’s web presence and forays into social media, and find out how current students thanked the School’s donors last month. We also preview the Coeducation Weekend Celebration, April 5-6; the Masters Awards on April 5, honoring Dr. Catherine Boczkowski H’80 ’11 P’89 ’91 (posthumously) and Leita V. Hamill H’ 65 ’88 ’99 P’96 ’99; and Alumni Weekend, May 3-5, plus other upcoming events.

VSV, or Virtus Semper Viridis, is an electronic newsletter from Lawrenceville’s Alumni and Development Office. We invite you to respond to anything you read in these electronic pages, or to send us your ideas, by contacting the editor at bhorn@lawrenceville.org.
